Jumanne Pitts, inspired by the work of the late Buffalo poet Kendra Durand, created Wordism Productions, an event planning company that hosts a monthly non-competitive open mic event for spoken word artists. At each of these events, the objective is to get a person who has never participated in an open mic, to be inspired to do so. In addition, many talented performers return every month to express their feelings and thoughts in word. Join us, you won't be disappointed.
